VNT Christmas Dinner 2025 – Farewells, Live Music and a Great Evening Together
Last Saturday, December 13th, the VNT celebrated its annual Christmas Dinner at a truly beautiful venue: the elegant Le Beaujour, under the Palais de Chine brand. The evening began with a lively reception on the ground floor, where delicious snacks disappeared in no time and the Formosa 1624 Dry Gin, generously sponsored by Jeroen Uijttenhout, was greatly enjoyed by many. 🍸
Naturally, we would also like to express our sincere thanks to VNT’s loyal sponsors. Thanks to the generous support of Heineken, KLM and Barco, the VNT is able to organize not only this Christmas Dinner, but all of its events for its members throughout the year.
After the reception, guests moved to the second floor, where an intimate and stylishly decorated dining room awaited. A wonderful buffet combined with the warm ambiance immediately set the perfect tone for a festive evening together.
During dinner, Maarten van Dam delivered his farewell speech as Chairman of the VNT. In a personal and heartfelt address, he reflected on his own experiences within the VNT and shared why the association is such a valuable and meaningful community for so many. He also thanked the members for the honor and trust of having served as their Chairman.
That evening also marked the farewell of board member Roy Hsiao. After organizing more than 100 VNT events and securing fantastic venues such as TAV, Mojo, Aloft, Le Beaujour and many more, Roy has played a crucial role in making it easier for the VNT to host monthly events. We are deeply grateful for his outstanding contribution and dedication, and we wish him every success in his future endeavors.
On behalf of the new board, David van Geel delivered a speech thanking both Maarten and Roy for their commitment and service to the VNT, which was warmly received by all present.
The evening then flowed seamlessly back into celebration: live music resumed — now joined by a singer — and, of course, the dance floor soon filled once again. A wonderful and festive conclusion to a truly memorable evening. ✨🎶
