Invitation VNT: BBQ and Sports day Event 27th May

Hey VNT Club members and friends,

Summer is coming and instead of the traditional drinks at Mojo, we are excited to host a BBQ and Sports Day on May 27th! We have planned a day full of activities for you and your family, so let’s make it an unforgettable day together.
We start the day sporty with a walk at 13:00 for those interested. However, our main event is the BBQ at M-Club at Meiti (Dazhi area – see location detail below), which starts at 3:00 PM with free flow of drinks, dance and music until the wee hours. Ideal to make use of the opportunity to invite some additional friends, family or colleagues to the event !

Given the fact that an extensive BBQ is provided, the price has been slightly changed to 1000 NTD per person including drinks for members and 1500 NTD for non-members. Children up to 12 years old can come for free (Please note that if you cancel after the RSVP deadline, you will still have to pay the event entrance fee).

Please register no later than May 20 via  vntsecretariaat@gmail.com so that we can ensure that we have enough food and drinks for everyone. You can register for the walk or the BBQ or both. Please provide the information below.

This is what we have in store for you:

 13:00 – Meet at Meiti Gate (https://maps.app.goo.gl/N7rxmpdxPUQCovfE8 )in Taipei, Dazhi (for people who want to come via MRT – brown line to Jiannan road station then 300m Jingye3rd road) for a scenic walk to Jiandaoshishan  (https://goo.gl/maps/F7iBeBKGpbwVXUZS9)  It’s a great way to get some fresh air, stretch your legs, work up an appetite and enjoy some quality time with other club members. We will be back at Meiti Gate around 3:00 PM.

 15:00 – Head to M-Club, 100m from the Meiti gate on the banks of the Keelung River, for a refreshing drink and a chance to relax with your friends. We will have a variety of drinks (Taiwan beer, soft drinks, fruit juice and wine) to choose from.

 17:00 – Time to feast! We will light the BBQ at M-Club and enjoy a delicious western barbecue. Expect tender grilled chicken, beef and pork and tasty side dishes. Bring your appetite!

 All day fun – Around M-Club there is something for everyone. With a newly constructed children’s play area, volleyball and basketball courts, bike rentals and a nearby skate park (bring your own skateboard or roller skates), there are plenty of opportunities to have fun. Of course, everyone remains responsible for the care of their children.

 We will continue the fun until 11:00 PM, so there is plenty of time to enjoy all the activities, food and company.
